In this role, you’ll act as a high‑end service specialist and a guide to digital banking. You aren't just serving a community; you’re building one by bringing Capital One’s mission to life within a vibrant, modern community hub.

• Be a Natural Connector:
  Proactively engage with guests in a high‑energy environment that serves as both a community space and a local coffee shop.

• Serve as a Brand Advocate:
  Share the value of Capital One’s products and services through genuine conversation rather than transactions. Success is measured by the quality of the connection, not a quota.

• Simplify the Complex:
  Guide customers through our digital ecosystem, helping them master mobile tools and troubleshoot tech challenges with ease.

• Facilitate Purposeful Impact:
  Host and support local events that promote financial health. Work within Capital One’s established programs and strategic community partnerships to ensure professional, focused impact.

• Advocate & Problem‑Solve:
  Advocate for customers, solve problems, and own issue resolution in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements. Handle complaints and escalated situations, with support for de‑escalation.

• Act as a Culture Carrier:
  Foster a supportive, inclusive environment where every guest feels welcome. Be a team player with strong attention to detail, positivity, and flexibility.

• Stay Agile & Engaged:
  Move throughout the Café to connect with the community and support the guest experience.

• Support surrounding Cafés as needed within a 50 mile radius, with occasional opportunities to assist other locations in the broader Region.

• Available for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Adapt to business‑driven schedule adjustments.

• Attend required training sessions on varying schedules.

• Lifting up to 25 pounds and standing/moving for extended periods.

• Regular and consistent attendance.

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification

• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience

• Associate’s degree

• 2+ years of banking experience

• 2+ years of Retail or Customer‑facing experience

• Proficient in G‑Suite

• Strong written and oral communication skills

Richmond, VA: $47,840 – $55,016 for Cafe Ambassador

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary offered will be reflected in the offer letter.
