Therapeutic Transportation Specialist

Compensation: $20 per hour for short‑distance assignments and $25 per hour for long‑distance transports.

Preferred hours: 7:00–10:00 AM and 2:00–6:00 PM, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily transportation to at‑risk children and youth to and from school, medical appointments, visitation, and other requested locations.
• Gain an understanding of the client and their needs through participation in the development of an Individualized Service Plan.
• Maintain appropriate, therapeutic interactions and complete all required documentation.
• Handle short‑distance routes (1–2 youth per day); occasionally perform long‑distance assignments, including out‑of‑state travel.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience working with children and adolescents with mental illness; skills training experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable, strong interpersonal skills, capacity to set and maintain boundaries, and ability to build relationships with youth.
