Web Software Developer

ECS is seeking a Web Software Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable, cloud‑native web applications on AWS. This remote role focuses on modern containerized architectures, Kubernetes-based deployments, and full‑stack web development in an agile, cloud‑first environment.

• Design and develop cloud‑native web applications using AWS infrastructure
• Deploy and manage applications in Amazon EKS
• Build, containerize, and maintain services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop scalable backend services using:
• Node.js
• Python
• Django
• Go (nice to have)
• Build and maintain modern front‑end applications using React
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
• Follow best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration
• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews

Salary Range: $165,000 - $220,000

• Active Secret Clearance
• Strong experience with AWS‑native infrastructure
• Hands‑on experience deploying applications to EKS
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, or other scalable container technologies
• Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, and/or Django
• Front‑end development experience with React
• Experience building and supporting scalable web applications

• Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and cloud security best practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, data, and platform teams
