Morton is seeking a Software Engineer II to join a dynamic IT Delivery team focused on building modern, scalable business solutions. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across teams, and working with modern technologies in an Agile environment.

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise applications and interfaces
• Collaborate with Agile teams, architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
• Contribute to full-stack application development using modern frameworks and technologies
• Support application availability, resiliency, and scalability initiatives
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement efforts
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices
• Work with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and containerized environments
• Occasionally travel based on business needs

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following:
  JavaScript Java Angular Type Script HTML/CSS .NET Python APIs

• Experience with modern frameworks such as:
  Spring Boot Angular React Node.js Bootstrap
• Experience developing REST APIs and related technologies:
  Kafka KSQL Kong Swagger/OpenAPI
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools:
  Docker Kubernetes
