Software Engineer II

As a Software Engineer II at Honeywell, you will serve as a UI Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work extensively with Next.js, JavaScript, and CSS to build intuitive and responsive web applications, while also applying your knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL to support backend integration and data management.

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work out of our Henrico, Virginia location on a hybrid work schedule.

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using Next.js, JavaScript, and CSS to create responsive and user-friendly web applications.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL components effectively.
• Design and optimize SQL queries and database schemas to support application functionality.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable software solutions.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in UI development with Next.js, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Good knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL for backend integration.
• Experience in building scalable and responsive web applications.
• Familiarity with modern development tools and version control systems.

The annual base salary range for this position is $99,200 - $124,000.
