Senior Software Engineer

Genworth is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and enhance secure, scalable software solutions that power our long-term care and financial security products. In this role, you will collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams to deliver reliable applications and integrations across our financial and insurance platforms. You will write clean, testable code, lead code reviews, and influence architectural decisions, while championing Dev Ops, automation, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications for financial and insurance products
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Implement integrations with internal and third-party financial systems and services
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and support continuous improvement
• Ensure reliability, performance, and security in cloud-based and on-premise environments
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps for core platforms
• Support Dev
