Job Title: Oracle JD Edwards Lead Developer
Location: Richmond, VA (On-site)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through Zip Staff — No C2C or 1099)
About the OpportunityZip Staff is seeking an Oracle JD Edwards Lead Developer to provide hands‑on technical leadership on JDE development, troubleshooting, and integration for a global technology services firm.
This is a senior JDE technical seat — not a functional‑only or CNC-admin role. You will develop and debug in FDA, RDA, NER, and BSFN, validate testing through the implementation lifecycle, and work with stakeholders across time zones in a multi‑vendor environment.
What You’ll Do- Design, build, and support JDE technical objects:
FDA, RDA, NER, BSFN
, and master business functions. - Develop and maintain power forms.
- Contribute to system architecture, application partitioning, interfaces, and interoperability.
- Validate testing across the JDE implementation lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot development issues; unit-test against requirements and design specs.
- Debug and fix standard JDE programs (
NERs, C BSFNs
, and related objects). - Analyze risk during system improvements and recommend enhancements.
- Integrate JDE with external systems using Business Services / Orchestrator.
- Support BI Publisher reporting as needed.
- Train the customer’s internal JDE technical team.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across vendors and time zones.
- 7+ years of hands‑on JD Edwards technical development experience.
- Strong JDE technical skills:
FDA, RDA, NER, BSFN
, and master business functions. - Working experience with power forms.
- Experience debugging standard JDE programs (NERs, C BSFNs).
- Good understanding of integrating JDE with external systems via Business Services / Orchestrator.
- Experience with BI Publisher.
- Experience with structured software-development methodologies.
- Ability to validate testing and own issue analysis / bug fix through implementation.
- Ability to work in a multi‑vendor environment across time zones.
- Hands‑on experience with JDE SND.
- Ability to work on‑site in Richmond, VA.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- JDE Advanced Warehousing and/or TMS modules.
- Systems management, operational support, security, or infrastructure exposure.
- Prior experience training client JDE technical teams.
