The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking a part-time, highly motivated, mission-driven, team-oriented professional to serve as our Aquatics Coordinator. We are seeking a Part-Time Aquatics Coordinator to provide leadership and supervision for aquatic programming and staff, ensuring a high-quality, safe, and welcoming environment.
This position will be located at the Midlothian Family YMCA.
Qualifications- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience in aquatics.
- Current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid are strongly preferred.
- Must obtain and maintain current aquatic, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to lead, organize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with PC software applications and scheduling tools.
- This role requires a flexible schedule, including availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
