Appliance Home Delivery Driver (Lead)

Typical Pay: $60,000 – $80,000 a year

Hours:

Starts daily at 7:00 a.m. Performs an average of 10 to 12 scheduled home deliveries per day. 8- to 10‑hour days.
Typical Work Hours Per Week: 40‑ to 50‑hours per week.
Management:
Truck Lead manages a team of one (1) or two (2) helpers/drivers.

Physical Requirements:

100% touch‑freight. This position involves moving appliances by hand, all day, every day, and is very physically demanding.

• Deliver appliances to customer homes efficiently and safely.

• Perform all aspects of a delivery, including loading, unloading, and securement of the product.

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.

• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns.

• Lead and coordinate a small team of helpers/drivers when managing multiple deliveries.

• Valid Virginia REAL r’s license
• No DUI or reckless driving convictions
• No moving violation convictions in the past three years
• No at‑fault accidents in the past three years
• No negative points on driving record
• No felony convictions
• No misdemeanor convictions in the past three years
• Professional customer service demeanor
• Appliance hand‑truck experience
• Ability to follow company protocol and policies
• Ability to pass FMCSA pre‑employment drug screening, including for marijuana
• Experience operating a 26‑foot box truck
