The work model for the role is:
Onsite, Richmond, VA

In this role as a Warehouse Shipping Coordinator
, you will have the opportunity to coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring orders are delivered on time per customer expectations, and all shipping documentation is accurate. This role requires a robust understanding of ABB shipping processes, Incoterms, logistics coordination, SAP transactions, and clear communication with customers as needed. The position works closely with carriers, freight forwarders, procurement, planning, and customer service to support efficient order fulfillment and transportation logistics.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Maintaining complete and accurate data in the ERP system.
• Checking the quality of incoming goods for storage.
• Ensuring daily contact with suppliers.
• Participating in regular inventory control processes.

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  PLUS minimum 2 years related experience OR Associate degree
  PLUS minimum 4 years related experience OR High School diploma/GED
  PLUS minimum 6 years related experience.
• Must have experience in shipping, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations.
• Strong working knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, including export documentation and compliance requirements with customs, a plus.
• Practical experience with Incoterms and global transportation practices.
• Proficiency in SAP, or similar ERP systems
  , particularly in shipping and order execution transactions.
• Experience working with freight carriers and forwarders in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

  Choice between two medical plan options: a PPO plan called the Copay Plan or a High Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account) called the High Deductible Plan. Choice between two dental plan options:
  Core and Core Plus. Vision benefit. Company paid life insurance (2X base pay). Company paid AD&D (1X base pay). Voluntary life and AD&D – 100% employee paid up to maximums. Short Term Disability – up to 26 weeks – Company paid. Long Term Disability – 60% of pay – Company paid, with an option to buy-up to 66 2/3% of pay.
  
  Supplemental benefits – 100% employee paid (Accident insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness, pet insurance).
