Delivery, Driver
Why This Role Matters
Every delivery you make is a promise kept. When a contractor is mid-job and waiting on wire, conduit, or gear, your truck showing up on time is what keeps the project moving. At Shepherd, drivers are not just logistics — they are the last mile of a commitment we have made to every customer. You carry Shepherd’s reputation on every run.
How you show up, communicate, and take care of the load is how our customers experience us.
Monday - Friday, 4:00am – 1:00pm
Compensation DetailsStarting between $26.00 – $29.00 per hour, depending on experience.
How This Role Connects to Our CompassWe Keep Our Promises:
You deliver what was promised, when it was promised. Routes are run on time, loads are complete and correct, and customers never have to call wondering where their material is. If something changes, you communicate early — not after the fact.
We Stay Hungry:
You know your routes, stay sharp on DOT compliance, and look for ways to make your runs more efficient. You ask questions, take feedback, and bring problems forward so they get solved — not ignored.
We Grow Together:
You work as part of a warehouse and dispatch team. Your communication, your on‑time returns, and your reliability create the conditions for the whole team to succeed. You make their jobs easier, not harder.
We Own It:
You take responsibility for your load, your vehicle, and your delivery. Pre‑trip inspections are done right, not skipped. If there is a discrepancy or a problem on the road, you call it in — you do not hope it resolves itself.
We Go Above & Beyond:
You treat every delivery like the customer is watching — because they are. You help offload when needed, represent Shepherd professionally, and flag anything that could become a problem before it does.
Organized by what matters, not just what you do.
