Delivery Driver

RVA Deliveries is now hiring friendly, reliable, professional Package Delivery Drivers who want to work in a fast-paced, physical, outdoor position.

RVA Deliveries is a proud Amazon Delivery Service Partner that delivers packages to Amazon customers.

Each morning, we provide all the tools you’ll need for the day: a van, a device to log your packages, a dispatcher to assist you as necessary, and a leadership team dedicated to your success. You’ll need to bring a “can-do” optimistic attitude, and maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with our clients and their customers.

We are partnered with Upwards! Childcare / Tutoring assistance for our drivers!

There s an education program funding up to $5,250 per eligible driver per year for access to over 1,700 academic programs, skill certifications, and high school completion courses!

• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating company vehicles
• Drive company vehicles to deliver packages to customers in a timely manner
• Comfortable using GPS technology
• Comfortable sitting, standing and walking for long periods of time (including climbing stairs as required)
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. on a repetitive basis
• Must be able to physically enter and exit a vehicle up to and beyond 300 times per day, as you will have 150+ packages
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations
• Handle any issues or delays that may arise during the delivery process efficiently

Minimum of 21 years of age due to driving of company vehicle

Must be able to commit 2 days consecutively for training.

- Valid Driver s license for at least 3 years with no more than 2 points on record
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Physical ability to perform lifting up to 70 lbs. and moving of packages as needed
