Description Position Summary

Safely and efficiently operate assigned transportation equipment in the pick‑up and delivery of donated goods and designated items. Adhere to all organizational and DOT policies and procedures.

Essential Duties

Completes pre‑trip inspections and notify management team of any equipment issues or concerns.

Follows all government (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). organizational safety regulations.

Ensures all required paperwork and updates are communicated to the Dispatcher or designee.

Safely, accurately and efficiently ensures loads are secure before transport, following all route assignments and all items are delivered to the correct destination.

Must be able to work independently without the need for close, direct supervision.

Exercises good judgement in behaviors and communication, providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education, Experience, Certificates & Security Clearance

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will consider a combination of education and work experience.
1 year experience in a related field required.
No professional certifications are required for this position.
CDL-A required. Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
The associate will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.
A minimum of 1 year verifiable accident‑free CDL-A driving experience required.
Ability to proficiently drive a manual transmission truck required.

Physical Demands / Work Environment / Work Conditions

Required to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Works in an environment with frequent exposure to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs dictate.
