Dispatcher Position

We are looking for a reliable and attentive Dispatcher to join our team in Henrico, Virginia. The role involves managing overnight shifts and ensuring seamless communication and coordination among team members.

• Coordinate nightly freight movement, ensuring loads are efficiently planned and routed.
• Manage high call volumes with terminals and internal dispatch teams to coordinate shipments.
• Plan and assign loads to appropriate drivers, routes, and equipment to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with terminals across multiple hubs to organize freight movement and resolve routing challenges.
• Collaborate with other dispatchers to coordinate shipments moving across different territories or regions.
• Monitor freight flow and adjust plans in real time based on shipment volume, operational needs, or delays.
• Utilize internal systems and Microsoft Excel to track loads, routes, and operational updates.
• Identify and resolve logistical issues quickly to keep freight moving efficiently.
