The company was founded to provide reliable, hardworking labor for challenging projects that require careful handling and efficiency. YBT supports clients with jobs ranging from single-item pickups to full house or facility cleanouts. As demand grew, the company expanded to offer moving services and last-mile delivery solutions for local businesses.

Today, YBT serves both B2C and B2B clients, focusing on safe, timely, and professional delivery and removal services.

Role Description

The Field Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Richmond Region. This position involves performing junk removal, assisting with residential and commercial moves, and supporting last-mile deliveries for local companies. Day-to-day tasks include loading, unloading, and transporting items; navigating local routes safely; and following company procedures to protect client property and ensure timely service. Field Associates work directly with customers on-site, provide respectful and clear communication, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

The role also includes basic vehicle and equipment checks, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with team members and supervisors to complete assigned projects efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move furniture, appliances, and other heavy items safely, with stamina for full-day field work.
  • Basic logistics and operations skills, including route awareness, time management, and attention to detail in handling items and documentation.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members on-site.
  • Reliability and teamwork skills, including punctuality, following instructions, and supporting a positive, safety-focused work culture.
  • Valid driver’s license; comfortable driving company vehicles within the Greater Richmond Region.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in moving, delivery, warehouse, or general labor roles is a plus.
  • Willingness to work varying schedules as needed, including some evenings or weekends based on project demands.
