Daily Responsibilities- Safely transport steel parts and plates between our fabrication shops and job sites.
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of materials, following safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure the vehicle’s safety and promptly report any issues.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch, colleagues, and clients, working together to address any concerns.
- Perform a strong adherence to DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Must hold a valid DOT CDL Class B driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in steel or construction material delivery is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed is required.
- Possess attention to detail.
- Have thorough understanding of, and adherence to, all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Must prioritize the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the general public while on the road.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit a strong work ethic.
- Must demonstrate professionalism and uphold our core values of being customer‑centric and problem solvers.
