Overview
The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is hiring a PRN Van Driver. The position will transport Marshall Center members to and from a psychosocial rehabilitation center. The driver maintains appropriate customer service skills with individuals served and community members, manages predetermined routes daily, and is responsible for maintaining safety for those being transported. The driver also maintains gas in the assigned van and reports any maintenance concerns to the Administrative Coordinator or Program Manager II immediately.
EssentialFunctions
- Use route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to transport members on time.
- Interact with customers and members in a professional manner.
- Work split shift and occasional Saturdays.
- Complete daily maintenance checks on the van and notify the manager of any issues.
- Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow, rain, ice, etc.
- Maintain electronic or paper logs of all rides for billing purposes.
Full-Time/Part-Time (Part-Time)
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year driving experience with a transportation company or equivalent experience.
- Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined transportation process.
- Strength to lift up to 50 pounds plus the ability to bend and twist.
- Work well independently.
- Open and transparent communication.
- Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps.
Valid VA Driver's License.
SalaryStarting Salary Range $14.02/hr.
