Caruso is a family owned, 4th generation company that delivers fresh ready‑to‑eat, pre‑cut produce, sandwiches, salads, and fresh meal kits to retail distribution centers and direct‑to‑retail stores all over the USA and we are growing! We are looking for experienced Class B drivers. The routes pick up between 7pm and 9pm. This is touch freight and requires Saturday work.

The Route Driver is the face of the company and must always project a professional and positive image of Caruso while maintaining and building excellent customer relationships. This person is responsible for the safe operation of a motor vehicle and safely pick up and drop off items to customers so that the customer is given an excellent service experience. This person must maintain compliance with all company policies/procedures and DOT regulations.

• Operate a company provided CMV.
• Deliver products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• Follow routes and time schedule.
• Load, unload, and deliver to customer specifications and obtain required customer sign‑offs.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relationships with customers.
• Review and verify invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy.
• Complete DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
• Follow safety and lifting protocols during deliveries.
• Maintain delivery logs and records.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift.
• Must have 9 months of verifiable Class B driving experience in the last 3 years.
• A good driving record including none of the following:
  • Reckless driving
  • DUI/OMVI
  • Hit and Run
  • Excessive Speed as defined by DOT (15+ miles over)
  • No Preventable accidents. No more than two moving violations within the last 24 months.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, work and drive in all types of weather.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent and prompt attendance each day scheduled.
• Experience with refrigerated products and previous route delivery is a plus.
• Must be able to work Saturday.
• Must be willing to touch freight.
