The Shipper/Receiver ensures seamless processing of outgoing shipments and incoming items. The Shipper/Receiver understands the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of outgoing items.

The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless outgoing shipments. This individual must load shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment. Shipper/Receiver will be required to assist in the scheduling of freight appointments.

Other responsibilities will include the inspection of incoming shipments to verify contents and quality. Inventory management and relations with shipping companies are essential functions for this position.

• Verify items and quantities on packing slips.
• Match product with shipping orders.
• Prepare and schedule shipments as assigned.
• Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
• Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
• Problem‑solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
• Sort, stock, and cycle inventory.
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly.
• Develop bills of landing and delivery forms online and by hand.
• Check orders for accuracy before shipping.
• Use time effectively to ensure everything is received and shipped promptly.
• Prepare shipping packages for inventory and equipment.
• Assemble pallets for large orders.
• All other related duties.

• Working experience in a Shipping and Receiving role required.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Organized, tidy and detail oriented.
• Able to adapt and solve problems quickly.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must have computer skills and typing experience.
• Experience using a forklift is an asset.
• Ability to multitask, effectively manage time and meet deadlines.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
