Class A or B CDL Local Delivery HazMat Truck Driver

Location: SCP Distributors, 11140 Lead better Road, Ashland, VA 23005

Pay: $26–$27 per hour + benefits and up to $3,500 in annual bonuses

Work Hours: 7:30a.m. start time (guaranteed 40 hours per week)

Hazmat Drivers ensure safe, accurate, and on‑time deliveries of hazardous materials while complying with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). federal regulations.

• Make deliveries using the most effective routes to ensure timely customer service.
• Load and unload vehicles, securing all products and separating hazardous materials appropriately.
• Collect payments and accurately document delivery details.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including FMCSR.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any needed maintenance.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well‑maintained, and presentable daily.
• Continuously increase job and product knowledge.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum age 21.
• Valid ClassA or B commercial driver’s license with HAZMAT endorsement.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre‑Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than two combined violations or at‑fault accidents in the past three years.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100pounds.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• Preferred familiarity with PCs, material‑handling equipment, Moffett, Skelly, or Air Brake systems.
