We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Transportation Dispatcher to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing transportation operations during overnight hours, answering phone calls, coordinating driver schedules, and monitoring transportation-related systems across multiple hub locations. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to multitask effectively, and able to respond quickly to transportation issues that arise during the night shift.

• Answer phone calls from drivers, customers, and other team members, providing timely updates and resolving issues as needed.
• Monitor and manage the transportation dispatching system, ensuring that all vehicles are on schedule and routes are optimized.
• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for deliveries, pick-ups, and emergency reroutes as needed.
• Monitor real-time transportation data, including GPS, traffic conditions, and fuel levels, to ensure the timely delivery of goods.
• Respond to delays, accidents, or other transportation-related incidents, ensuring proper documentation and prompt resolution.
• Communicate with drivers, dispatch teams, and customers to ensure clear and timely information flow.
• Maintain accurate logs of dispatch activities, including driver status, vehicle locations, and delivery times.
• Resolve logistical issues by coordinating with other teams or third parties (e.g., repair services, traffic authorities).
• Follow company policies and safety protocols to ensure compliance with transportation regulations.

• Previous experience in transportation dispatching, logistics, or a similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage multiple channels of communication.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with transportation dispatch software and GPS systems; experience with logistics technology is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, especially during overnight hours.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring smooth operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certifications in logistics/transportation preferred.

• Ability to sit for long periods while managing dispatch operations.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and composed demeanor.

• Friday: 11:00pm-7:00am
• Saturday 7:00pm-7:00am
