As a Bus Operator, you'll safely transport students while serving as a positive ambassador for our school community.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely transport students on scheduled morning and afternoon routes
• Drive students to and from work‑study placements
• Transport students to athletic events, field trips, and school activities
• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
  
  Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment on the bus
• Follow all state and federal transportation regulations
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, faculty, and staff
• Report vehicle concerns promptly
• Complete required documentation and route records
• Support the mission and values of Cristo Rey Richmond High School

Required:

• Valid Virginia Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Passenger (P) and Air brake endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, criminal background check, and TB screening

Preferred:

• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience working with adolescents
• Knowledge of the Richmond metropolitan area
