Summary Drive a light vehicle such as a truck with a capacity of less than 26000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight GVW primarily to deliver or pick up tires May load and unload vehicles; as well as other duties assigned by the manager

• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas oil water tires lights or brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
• Report on any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
• Properly document goods delivered or loaded
• Load and unload trucks
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs records of cargo or billing statements in accordance with regulations
• Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions
• Report delays accidents or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles using telephones or mobile two way radios

• Operating Vehicles Mechanized Devices or Equipment Running maneuvering navigating or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts or passenger vehicles
• Getting Information Observing receiving and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
• Material Handling Load unload secure and move products safely using hands arms pallet jacks and forklifts
• Warehouse Operations Knowledge Understand basic warehouse processes including receiving picking staging and inventory handling
• Customer Service Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries and pickups
• Performing General Physical Activities Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping and handling of materials
