Prospect Blue is looking for a Central Dispatch Specialist to keep freight moving efficiently and on schedule. You’ll coordinate daily shipments, adjust driver schedules, respond to customer requests, and ensure service levels are met - all while tracking multiple modes of transportation.
What You’ll Do:- Dispatch drivers and manage daily freight schedules.
- Communicate with drivers, service centers, and customers to resolve issues.
- Track shipments across contractor, rail, brokerage, owner-operator, and company equipment.
- Generate daily and ad hoc reports to keep operations on track.
- Collaborate with internal teams on staffing, new accounts, and process improvements.
Shift: 3am - 11am Tues
- Saturday or Monday
- Friday
- Experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
