Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM

** What's the Job?*
* + Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise

+ Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing

+ Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped

+ Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic

+ Complete work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

** What's Needed?*
* + Basic written and verbal communication skills

+ Basic computer skills

+ Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

+ Experience loading and unloading trailers and using handheld scanners (preferred)

+ The ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and load/unload trucks
