• Assist with all materials delivered to internal and external customers.
• Oversee work assignments for Material Handlers, ensuring short‑term departmental objectives are met.
• Delegate job assignments and determine priorities based on available labor and workload.
• Ensure Materials personnel execute job duties in compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Take appropriate actions to assure efficient and compliant operation for internal and external customers.
• Communicate with department management, traffic and/or shipping associates regarding accuracy, safety, and housekeeping.
• Report unsafe conditions to traffic or supervision and take corrective actions.
• Provide assistance with problem solving for shipping personnel and other designees regarding scanning and case location questions.
• Adjust to changing demands and priorities on a constant basis.
• Assist with planning for and execution of quarterly physical inventories.
• Ensure personnel meet or exceed the minimum number of trailers/cases loaded daily; perform root‑cause analysis when mistakes are discovered and conduct 6S audits.
• Maintain safety, quality, and performance procedures in a clean and organized setting and recommend improvements.
• Operate forklift or hand truck as needed to move products.
• Occasional overtime, extended hours, and weekend work may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Minimum four years of warehouse experience.
• Warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
• Self‑motivated with sound judgment in unexpected or unfamiliar situations.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation, data entry in AS400, and safe warehouse practices.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and frequently push/pull 200–800 pounds, lift from awkward positions, and work in tight spaces.

• Ability to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) and perform repetitive pushing/pulling of 200–800 lbs.
• Stamina for standing, walking, and operating hand tools; ability to sit, stoop, and kneel occasionally.
