Shipping Clerk

We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Shipping Manager to ensure proper workflow, product storage, and inventory counts, maintain company equipment in working order, and promote a safe, clean, and organized working environment. The role requires following our quality control procedures and exercising judgment under general supervision according to well‑defined policies, procedures and techniques.

• Work closely with Shipping Manager to maintain proper workflow, product storage, and inventory counts.
• Maintain company equipment in working order and promote a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Follow company quality control procedures.
• Exercise judgment under general supervision in accordance with well‑defined policies, procedures and techniques.

• Identify incorrect or short‑shipped items and immediately notify supervisor.
• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas.
• Verify computations against the physical count of stock.
• Inspect stock items for wear and defects.
• Receive, count, and store inventory items.
• Record receiving data using a computer.
• Pack, unpack, and mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electronic marking tools or other labeling equipment.
• Have a good understanding and basic knowledge of a warehouse environment.
• Handle intermittent periods requiring continuous physical exertion (walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward).
• Function in a working environment that may expose you to temperature extremes, moving machinery, or loud noise, which may cause noticeable discomfort.
• Work well with others, be a team player, and be willing to help whenever needed.
• Strong time‑management, organizational, and flexibility skills; ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Recommend 1–5 years of experience.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
