Overview
The Receiving Specialist receives and verifies incoming purchase orders using automated system(s); researches packages that don’t have purchase orders in a timely manner; and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments. The Receiving Specialist delivers all incoming packages to the correct location as soon as possible. Duties include but are not limited to receiving, shipping, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming packages.
Responsibilities- Utilize MMIS system to receive packages
- Appropriately receive packages and safely and securely prepare for transport
- General maintenance, including cleaning, organizing, and securing inventory
- Load and wrap items utilizing pallet jackets
- Deliver items to end users (internal customers)
- Verify accuracy of deliveries
- Verify PO and receipt accuracy in MMIS
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Ensure responsibility and visible commitment of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs/initiatives through collaboration and implementation of initiatives across the health
