Lead - Weekend Night Shift

Weekend Night Shift, 08:00pm – 08:00am:
Week 1:
Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday. Week 2:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.

• Lead and support a team of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operators to ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations.
• Assign nightly work activities and monitor workflow to meet productivity, quality, and service objectives.
• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, and move materials as needed.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners with a high degree of accuracy to maintain inventory integrity.
• Load and unload trailers while ensuring proper load quality and material handling practices.
• Monitor processes within the work area and take corrective action to achieve established KPIs.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with GXO policies and procedures.
• Maintain 7S standards and a clean, organized work environment.
• Support inbound receiving activities and system-directed warehouse processes.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training to team members and reinforce standard work practices.
• Communicate shift priorities and report operational issues and performance results to supervisors during daily shift handoffs.
• Foster a positive and respectful work environment while leading by example and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Previous experience operating PIT equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a small team while maintaining accountability and engagement.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and process excellence.
• Ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions to support shift objectives.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach and motivate team members through example and positive influence.
• Willingness to work a rotating weekend night schedule.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to identify and implement process enhancements.

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift greater than 75 lbs.
• Lift objects of varying sizes, shapes, and weights.
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely.
• Work in hot or cold warehouse environments.
