Warehouse Material Handler

The Warehouse Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting repair and test operations by accurately moving, storing, and handling electronic equipment and materials within a clean, climate-controlled facility. This position supports production flow, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The role focuses on careful product handling, strict adherence to quality procedures, and compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards rather than traditional pick-and-pack retail warehouse work.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels by following established procedures and standards.
  • Package, unpackage, sort, stage, and prepare electronic units and materials for production activities.
  • Perform accurate data entry into internal systems using a PC to support inventory and production tracking.
  • Work efficiently in a high-speed, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Meet or exceed daily production goals at 80% or higher, contributing to overall operational performance.
  • Put away equipment and parts into designated storage locations and pull required items to support production and repair operations.
  • Operate RF scanners and related equipment to track and manage inventory movement within the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with facility standards and safety guidelines.
  • Handle electronic equipment with care, following ESD and quality guidelines to prevent damage and ensure reliability.
  • Perform general labor tasks related to material handling and warehouse operations as needed.
  • Complete other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and production operations.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift to perform material handling and warehouse tasks.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English to follow instructions, complete documentation, and perform data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate handling, storage, and tracking of electronic equipment and materials.
  • Experience with material handling in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking and movement.
  • Capability to perform general labor in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Basic PC skills for data entry into internal systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with handling electronic equipment and components in a production or repair environment.
  • Awareness of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions and proper handling techniques for sensitive electronic devices.
  • Comfort working in a structured environment with defined production goals and quality metrics.
  • Ability to maintain organization and cleanliness in a workstation or warehouse area.
