PositionSummary
We’re looking to add a Cycle Counter 2 located in Henrico, VA
. Reporting to the Cycle Count Supervisor
, the Cycle Counter role involves performing daily cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy across warehouse locations, validating material descriptions against system records and SKID labels, and reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Perform daily scheduled inventory counts by location.
- Verify the accuracy of inventory records and ensure that all materials descriptions match the SKID label.
- Access warehouse racking to physically count individual items.
- Ensure complete accuracy in Count 1, Count 2, and Audit count, and verify all count results are accurate and reliable.
- Report any issues identified during daily count operations promptly to the Team Lead and Supervisor.
- Complete daily reports including new locations and/or relocation of materials.
- Assist with special projects in Warehouse and plant.
- Work with computer systems/data entry using the current ERP system, with future transfer to SAP; maintain attention to detail and familiarity with using a WMS or similar inventory system.
- Operate a sit‑down forklift, scissor lift, jack pallet, and safely maneuver them to move product.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned by Cycle Count Manager/Supervisor, including counting, stocking, inventory, or unwrapping raw materials.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while operating warehouse equipment and maintaining a clean work area.
- Detail‑oriented: ability to accurately count, reconcile, and verify inventory to ensure operational efficiency.
- Communication skills: strong verbal and written communication to coordinate with different departments and report findings.
- Technical proficiency: familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Physical stamina: capability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting items as needed.
