Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** Shift:
** Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

** What's the Job?*
* + Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders to sales associates for processing

+ Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped

+ Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic

+ Complete work in a safe manner by adhering to all safety policies and procedures

+ Participate in inventory counts and assemble products as needed

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or dock environment

+ High School diploma or GED

+ Basic written and verbal communication skills

+ Basic computer skills

+ Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and load/unload trucks
