** Description
* * As a Logistics Operator Level 5 (Team Lead), you will provide day-to-day leadership for warehouse operations while ensuring materials are delivered safely, accurately, and efficiently to support production. You'll coordinate team activities, monitor inventory movement, assign daily work, and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
This position is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.#
** Responsibilities
* ** Lead daily warehouse operations while ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate material movement.
* Assign daily work priorities and coordinate team activities to meet production schedules.
* Transport raw materials and finished goods using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
* Receive, inspect, store, pick, kit, and deliver materials to production lines.
* Process warehouse transactions using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
* Complete forklift inspections prior to operation and report equipment concerns.
* Ensure warehouse processes are executed according to standard operating procedures.
* Monitor inventory accuracy and support material replenishment activities.
* Coordinate shipping documentation, trailer closures, and receiving activities.
* Support return material processing and inventory balancing.
* Promote and enforce all LEGO safety policies and procedures.
* Serve as a role model by demonstrating safe work practices.
* Confirm accurate system transactions for inventory movement and material supply.
* Conduct effective shift handoffs to ensure operational continuity.
* Monitor warehouse equipment, including forklifts, scanners, and radios.
* Coordinate employee attendance for required safety training, LOTO training, and compliance programs.
* Foster a collaborative team environment focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.#
** Requirements
* ** High school diploma or GED.
* Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
* Minimum of
** 5 years of warehouse and forklift operating experience.
*** Previous experience leading or directing warehouse employees.
* Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Basic computer and handheld scanner proficiency.
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
* Commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
* Ability to work a
** 12-hour E Shift schedule (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM).**#
** Qualifications**###
** Required Qualifications.
*** Forklift Certification.
* 5+ years of warehouse operations experience.
* 5+ years operating forklifts in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
* Experience supporting production through material handling and inventory management.
* Leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
* Experience with warehouse management systems.
* Basic computer proficiency.
* Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.###
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with SAP or similar warehouse management software.
* Experience coaching or mentoring employees.
* Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience.
