Interdisciplinary Engineer​/Scientist

You will serve as the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) National Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Laboratory Lead in the RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GROUP, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS DEPT, WEAPONS MS&A DIV, WEAPONS DISTRIBUTED SIMULATION   of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DP-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer/scientist.

• Experience leading teams in modeling and simulation (M&S) engineering, software development and/or systems engineering;
• Experience with requirements development;
• Experience with verification and validation (V&V);
• Experience with programmatic support (cost, schedule and performance).
