We’re looking for Respiratory Therapists who are dedicated to assessing and treating patients with care, precision, and empathy. In this role, you’ll work across age groups to evaluate respiratory conditions, deliver therapeutic treatments, and educate patients and families. You’ll also collaborate with physicians and staff to implement effective care plans while supporting patient recovery and respiratory health during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Assess breathing and oxygen levels in patients of all ages
- Administer treatments and operate devices used in respiratory care
- Educate patients and families on device use and respiratory techniques
- Respond to emergencies, including CPR, intubation, and ventilation
- Maintain and sanitize respiratory equipment and restock supplies
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
This role involves working closely with physicians, nurses, and department staff to provide exceptional respiratory care in both urgent and ongoing situations—fostering a safe, informed, and compassionate environment for patients.
Qualifications- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in California
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- 1 year of acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification required and maintained
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire and maintained
- PALS certification within 1 year and maintained
- NRP certification within 1 year and maintained
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language
- Must demonstrate Service Excellence skills with patients, families, and coworkers
