We are seeking a Senior Consultant who is a Red Hat Certified Specialist in SELinux Policy Administration to support a specialized security-focused engagement in Ridgecrest, California. This is a hybrid role with an onsite component; the specific schedule will be determined in collaboration with the client.

The consultant will provide expert-level support in managing, customizing, and troubleshooting SELinux (Security-Enhanced Linux) policies within Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. This role requires hands-on experience with SELinux configurations and policy development in high-security or mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing SELinux configurations and develop custom policies as needed.
• Troubleshoot SELinux-related issues across complex environments.
• Develop, test, and deploy targeted and MLS/MCS SELinux policies.
• Collaborate with security teams, system administrators, and application owners to ensure SELinux enforcement supports operational needs while maintaining security posture.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to client teams.
• Participate in security audits or compliance initiatives as related to Linux systems.
• Support integration of SELinux policies with other system hardening or compliance frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in SELinux Policy Administration
• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and SELinux enforcement modes
• Proven ability to create, troubleshoot, and optimize SELinux policies
• Experience working in classified, high-security, or defense-related environments is a plus
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and familiarity with Linux system internals
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work onsite in Ridgecrest, CA on a hybrid schedule as defined with the client.
