US Department of Defense - 1 Administration Circle - Responsibilities:
Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent security practices across SAP, SCI, and collateral programs.;
Act as Senior Security Specialist and actively participate in and often lead command-supported security exercises and activities to strengthen the command's security posture.;
Serve as a technical authority and mentor, guiding other security personnel and working cross-organizationally within the department.;
Attend security meetings and mandatory training sessions; stay current on security policies and best practices; represent the command as a subject matter expert.;
Ensure corrective actions are implemented and provide appropriate training to responsible personnel, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
