NW Service Enterprises, Inc. (NWS) Professional Assembly is seeking candidates for the Bicycle Assembly Technician position, working on-site at local retail stores such as Walmart and Kroger. The role involves assembling merchandise and displays, including bicycles, toys, barbecues, and furniture.
Available work is seasonal and can fluctuate depending on the time of year. While the opportunity peaks in spring and summer, and again during holidays, the company offers flexible scheduling. This makes it attractive to those seeking part‑time work as well as those who want to work as much as is available.
Once training is complete, the pay structure transitions to piece rate. New technicians typically average about $18 to $25 per hour, with experienced techs earning upwards of $30 per hour, depending on productivity. Workers are guaranteed not to earn less than the local minimum wage.
We welcome candidates who enjoy physical work, staying active, and are handy at assembling items such as bikes, barbecues, or playsets.
Responsibilities- Assembly and repair products and merchandise using manufacturer instructions while adhering to retailer rules and guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
- Check in with retailer management to confirm the build list and inventory.
- Generate and complete invoices daily.
- Report and communicate effectively with your area manager.
- Maintain a safe, clean workspace and leave clients with a clean build area.

- Day‑shift/early morning availability.
- Self‑motivated: able to work hard with minimal supervision.
- Mechanical aptitude; handy with tools.
- Smartphone and e‑mail address.
- Internet access via a smartphone or mobile device.
- Ability to pass a background test.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- Reliable transportation.
- Capable of working on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
