A Janitor-Floor Techis responsible for performing floor maintenance duties and custodial services in order toensure that buildings and facilities aremaintainedin a safe and sanitary manner. Will perform a full range of floor care maintenance and custodial duties related to the care, maintenance and cleaning of all assigned buildings and facilities with the government contract to include both routine maintenance as well as non-routine assignments.

• Basic Janitorial duties including, but not limited to sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms
• Floor care maintenance duties for small and large facilities such as carpet cleaning,strippingand waxing, and spray and buffs
• Building and floors will be maintained so as tobe in compliance with contract standards and present a clean and sightly appearance
• Operating floor care machinery and other basic janitorial equipment
• Maintain equipment andsupply
• Moving furniture before and after cleaning
• Follow daily,weeklyand monthly cleaning schedules
• Independently work as well as part of a team
• Regular customer interaction during performance of services
• May berequiredto drive to outlying areas
• Other duties as assigned bydirectsupervisor and management team

• Must have valid California Drivers License  or obtain one beforestartdate.
• Successfully pass a background investigation for the base.
• Must have the ability to obtain security clearance andsubmitall required documents through the government program (E-qip) beforestartdate.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Physical stamina
• Attention todetail
• Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodilyfluidsand communicable and infectious disease.
• Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Completionofon the job training and safety program 9
• Floor maintenance experience required(preferred two years)
