Job Description

We’re looking for compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants who are dedicated to supporting patient comfort, safety, and well-being in our Med Surg unit. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of patient care activities and provide non-professional services essential to meeting patients’ personal needs. You’ll assist with maintaining a safe, clean environment while working closely with the care team to ensure a positive and respectful patient experience.

This position is ideal for individuals who value teamwork, clear communication, and providing thoughtful, hands-on care every day.

Patient Care & Treatment

Offer supportive, patient-centered care that prioritizes dignity, comfort, and respect. Assist patients with daily activities, support basic care needs, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment aligned with RRH’s commitment to service excellence.

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with nurses and interdisciplinary care teams within the Med Surg unit to support patient-focused services. You’ll contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment while helping ensure high-quality care for patients and their families.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred

  • Completion of a Nurse Assistant training program with successful certification

  • Must maintain Certified Nursing Assistant certification while employed at RRH

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

  • Continuing education required for certification renewal

  • BLS certification required and maintained thereafter

  • Must successfully pass Telemetry Competency Test within 3 months of employment and maintain annually thereafter

  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language

  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with patients, families, and coworkers
