We're looking for compassionate Registered Nurses who are dedicated to providing thoughtful, respectful care to patients and their families. In this role, you'll lead members of the healthcare team, coordinate individualized plans of care, oversee patient care activities provided by assigned nursing staff, and help ensure positive patient outcomes through clinical excellence and teamwork.

Lead and coordinate the delivery of patient care
Develop and implement individualized plans of care
Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately
Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
Supervise and support assigned nursing staff
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Provide education and support to patients and families

The Registered Nurse serves as a leader within the healthcare team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and excellence in patient care while supporting the mission and vision of Ridgecrest Regional Hospital.
QualificationsCurrent RN licensure to practice in California
One (1) year experience in Skilled Nursing or Medical Surgical Nursing preferred
Minimum one (1) year of MDS completion experience preferred
Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacology test with a minimum score of 80%
BLS certification required and maintained
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within six (6) months of hire and maintained
Must take and pass an Arrhythmia Recognition class within six (6) months of employment or provide proof of competency
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language
Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with patients, families, and coworkers
Ability to provide RN leadership in a positive direction that is consistent with the policies, goals, objectives, mission, and vision of the Hospital and Nursing Department
Must have an above-standard or exceeds-standard performance evaluation from RRH or previous employer within the past year
