Job Description

We’re looking for a Clinical Manager who is excited to provide leadership and management for a defined group of departments and staff under the direction of the Operations Administrator. In this role, you’ll help ensure excellent patient care, customer service, and clinical outcomes while planning, developing, and implementing improvements to operational and healthcare processes.

You’ll oversee patient care and business service functions, including reception, registration, scheduling, frontline patient services, physician scheduling protocols, and outreach site coordination. You’ll also manage departmental budgets and serve as a resource for setting up new practices in and outside of the assigned clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and management for assigned departments and staff.
  • Ensure high standards of patient care, customer service, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
  • Plan, develop, and implement changes to operational and healthcare processes to meet current and future clinic service needs.
  • Manage and coordinate patient care and business service functions, including reception, registration, scheduling, frontline patient services, physician scheduling protocols, and outreach site coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to established medical practice standards and proficiency.
  • Manage all aspects of departmental budgets.
  • Support continuous improvement and effective daily operations in a team environment.
  • Serve as a resource for setting up new practices in and outside of the assigned clinic.
Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with staff, physicians, and leadership to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications
  • Current RN/LVN license to practice professional nursing in California preferred
  • Significant management experience in a busy clinic with multiple providers
  • CPR certification required and maintained
  • Previous significant experience working with ambulatory medical record systems
  • Excellent working relationship with physicians
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language
  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers
  • Ability to provide leadership in a positive direction that is consistent with the policies, goals, objectives, mission, and vision of the Hospital and Rural Health Clinic
