Full Charge Bookkeeper

A reputableHVAC service companyis seeking aFull Charge Bookkeeper to join our finance team. We provide a full range of residential and commercial HVAC services in a fast-paced environment.

This hands-on role manages the complete accounting cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle full accounts payable and receivable cycles (invoicing, payments, collections).Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.

Post journal entries and manage month-end/year-end closings.

Process payroll and related filings.

Support job costing for service/installation projects.

Prepare financial reports, budgets, and variance analysis.

Maintain fixed assets and depreciation.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, controls, and regulations.

Assist with audits, inventory tracking, and ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

5+ years as a full charge bookkeeper, preferably in service or construction industries.

HVAC industry experience strongly preferred (job costing, project billing a plus).Sage software experience preferred (or similar ERP like Quick Books Enterprise).Strong GAAP/accrual accounting knowledge.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and deadline skills.

Accounting degree preferred; payroll/multi-state tax experience a plus.

Compensation:

Salary:$75,000 - $85,000annually, based on experience.
