The Ridgefield Park Public library is seeking a friendly, well-organized, proactive Part-Time Children’s Circulation Assistant.
Responsibilities:- Charging and discharging of materials
- Assisting patrons at circulation desks in the Children’s Department
- Handling monetary fines
- Handling interlibrary requests
- Emptying book drop
- Answering telephone
- Light lifting and bending
- Assisting with programs in the Children’s department
- Excellent English, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team or by themselves
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of computers and other related technologies
- Willingness to learn new abilities
- Tuesdays, 5:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays, 5:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
- Thursdays 5:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
