Company is seeking qualified construction professionals for anticipated NJ Transit projects throughout New Jersey. Candidates MUST have prior NJ Transit project experience to be considered.
Experience Required for All RolesPrior NJ Transit Resident Engineer experience.

- Office Engineer
- Construction Inspector
Required Experience: 10-15+ years of transportation or transit construction experience.
Position Summary: NJ Transit Resident Engineer experience required. Serve as the Engineer-in-Charge / Resident Engineer for NJ Transit construction projects, overseeing construction activities in accordance with NJ Transit standards and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Act as NJ Transit's on-site representative
- Manage construction operations, inspection staff, and office engineers
- Review contractor schedules, submittals, change orders, and pay estimates
- Coordinate with NJ Transit, contractors, utilities, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements
- Prior NJ Transit Resident Engineer experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) – New Jersey (required or strongly preferred)
- NJ Transit safety and construction certifications (preferred)
Highly Desired: NJ Transit Resident Engineer, Engineer-in-Charge, transit construction, rail projects, transportation infrastructure, construction management, contract administration.
Office Engineer – NJ TransitRequired Experience: 5-10+ years of construction office engineering experience.
Position Summary: NJ Transit project experience required. Provide construction office engineering and contract administration support in accordance with NJ Transit procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Process submittals, RFIs, and pay estimates
- Maintain NJ Transit-required project documentation
- Support Resident Engineer with contract administration
- NICET Level II-IV
- PE (New Jersey)
Highly Desired: NJ Transit Office Engineer, construction administration, transit projects, pay estimates, RFIs, submittals, transportation construction.
Construction Inspector – NJ TransitRequired Experience: 3-10+ years of construction inspection experience.
Position Summary: NJ Transit inspection experience required. Perform inspection services for NJ Transit transit and rail infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect construction activities and materials
- Prepare daily inspection and field reports
- Coordinate with contractors and project team
- NICET Level II-IV
- Transit / rail inspection certifications (preferred)
