Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech I) – Service Department

As a Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech I) within the Power/HVAC division at United Rentals, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and dehumidification/air purification equipment. On a daily basis you will perform maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and work safely and professionally to keep equipment operating at peak performance. Opportunities exist to advance to higher level Tech roles within the Service Department.

• Perform minor repairs, maintenance checks and equipment cleaning
• Report equipment condition before and after use
• Demonstrate equipment to customers
• Assist with equipment loading and unloading
• Complete any other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with relevant tools
• Strong customer service, teamwork and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Compensation Range: $22.00 - $40.00
