Overview

Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Scientist II. Ideal candidates should have a Master's degree or 3+ years of experience with applying machine learning techniques in pathology imaging.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and optimize image analysis pipelines for 2D and 3D biomedical images.

+ Perform quantitative analysis of histology, IHC, IF, and multiplex imaging data.

+ Apply classical image processing and machine learning methods for feature extraction, segmentation, and classification. Including integration of multiple image analysis platforms (e.g., HALO, Visiopharm, QuPath).

+ Collaborate with pathologists, biologists, and data scientists to define analytical endpoints.

+ Validate image derived biomarkers and ensure analytical rigor.

+ Document workflows and ensure reproducibility of analyses.

+ Support interpretation and visualization of image based data for scientific reports.

+ Help cross lab collaboration through image and algorithm transfer.

Requirements

+ 3+ years of related scientific discipline experience or Master's Degree in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience.

+ Proficiency in scientific programming languages (R, Python).

+ Experience applying machine learning techniques in pathology imaging.

+ Knowledge of image analysis tools such as HALO AI, Visiopharm, QuPath, or Cell Profiler.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

+ Experience in tumor immunology and histopathology (preferred).

+ Previous industry and biotech experience (preferred).
