Position Summary

The primary purpose of the Lab Operator is to independently execute, or assist in the execution of, lab batches in accordance with batch records, applicable procedures, and safety requirements.

This role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Initially, the Lab Operator will develop technical expertise in lab equipment and procedures, while supporting routine operations and general upkeep of the lab.

Key Responsibilities

Execute lab operations required to complete batches, either independently or with assistance, following established procedures with moderate supervision.

Develop proficiency in basic lab tasks and procedures, including handling potentially hazardous chemicals, materials, waste, and industrial equipment.

Collaborate effectively with operators, chemists, management, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Communicate work progress proactively and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Uphold a high standard of data integrity and ethical conduct.

Comply with all applicable regulations, SOPs, and company policies. Perform all duties safely and report any operational or safety concerns to a supervisor promptly.

Independently lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds (or more with assistance).

Work extended hours on occasion, sometimes with limited notice, to support operational and batch production needs.

Requirements:

High School Diploma required.

Experience working with established GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing
