$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and perform high throughput expression of biotherapeutic proteins using suspension CHO cells at various scales (plate-based, tube-based, and flask-based) with automated platforms; determine key cell-culture parameters and interpret findings.

Conduct transfection, culture monitoring, harvest, titer determination, and Western blot analysis as needed.

Design and produce DNA for use in transient and stable transfections; perform molecular biology techniques such as cloning, DNA scale-up, and sequencing analysis.

Evaluate new technologies and process changes to improve productivity, quality, and consistency of expression processes.

Interpret, communicate, and present results via reports and internal presentations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet research milestones while adhering to project timelines.

Ensure compliance with all regulations, perform work safely, and maintain proper records according to SOPs and policies.

Assist with lab organization, reagent tracking, and other relevant tasks.

Skills:

Thorough understanding of cell culture basics.
Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Quick learner with a proactive attitude, adaptability, and self-motivation.
Experience with automation/HTP antibody expression is a plus.
Ability to work in plate-based formats (24-well, 96-well).
Knowledge of DNA and molecular biology, including basic DNA quality assessments.
Apply scientific principles and theories effectively.
Accurate and concise reporting of technical data.
Troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
Team-oriented mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of related experience or Master’s Degree in a scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
