Job Title:
Scientist II (Analytical Science)

Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension or Conversion to Perm)

Job Summary:

The Scientist II
-Analytical executes laboratory work at a high level to support the development of new therapeutic modalities such as peptides, oligonucleotides, viruses, antibodies, and non-viral delivery systems. This role designs and implements experimental studies, troubleshoots equipment, maintains lab organization, and communicates findings across cross-functional teams. The scientist contributes to product and process knowledge, ensures compliance with regulations, and drives innovation in therapeutic research.

Required Skills:

• Experience with wet chemistry preparation (buffers, mobile phases, multi-component formulations)
• Knowledge of chromatography methods (HPLC, FFF/AF4, SEC)
• Ability to plan and conduct experiments and interpret technical data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with NMR spectroscopy
• Knowledge of particle sizing methodologies (DLS, Flow Cam)
• Experience with fluorescent labeling and microscopy
• Background in biophysical testing (DNA/RNA isolation, electrophoresis, PCR)

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience in a related field
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in a related field
